Job Description: Frontend Developer

The Junior Web Developer is expected to build smart, elegant websites and apps quickly and efficiently with exceptional user interfaces in a fast-paced environment. The Junior Developer should have a strong grasp of JavaScript, CSS, HTML and a solid understanding of web standards and usability. 

This person should be able to contribute within a team and need to be able to present with confidence and champion work that transcends digital tactics and leads brands. This person should understand the difference between work that’s mediocre and work that’s inspiring; prepared to do what it takes to make sure their work consistently falls into the “exceptional” category.

Job Requirements :

  • Keen understanding of how the digital medium is consumed and used by the general population
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current development and programing trends
  • Self-motivated with the ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Ability to work effectively with the account and design team to develop interactive solutions that flow from a strategic foundation.
  • Meticulous attention to design details and overall product quality
  • Ability to quickly resolve issues as they arise
  • Ability to conceive and develop digital solutions individually as well as in a collaborative environment
  • Commitment not to just fulfilling an assignment, but in adding value, pushing the boundaries and creating work that makes a difference
  • Team player (those great personality types that people love to work with)

Technical Skills :

  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap (or foundation), Angular
  • Capable of working in multiple CMS platforms
  • Wireframing and Prototyping
  • Ability to architect, write and implement the functional code base for websites projects
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Understanding of source control, server environments, and CSS frameworks
  • Understanding of client-side render and response, such as HTTP methods, API consumption, the browser loading/rendering pipeline
  • Understanding of design fundamentals and systems, responsive design, grid systems, front-end frameworks and accessibility best practices
  • Ability to help with debugging, testing, and performance optimization of the code base
  • Skilled in strategic problem-solving; communication, time-management and follow-through
  • Ability to work with key inhouse design tools like Figma and Adobe XD to translate design to code
  • In touch with current development and front-end design trends
