About This Project


The Brief

Saint Tracy is known to have one of the best collections of Engagement & Wedding rings in their offline store at Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Over the years, the Store has enjoyed market leadership in the Jewellery business. They needed to leverage on this success & expand their business to the biggest city in West Africa, Lagos.

The Webcoupers Team was tasked to deliver the following

  • Redesign the existing ecommerce site to resonate the brand’s essence and appeal to the rising digital –savvy audience in Nigeria
  • Improve lead generation and sales focusing on the new ecommerce site as the Point of Sale.


  • Redesign the existing site following 3 core UX design Principles. Ease of use, Speed & Mobile Optimization.
  • Launched a Google Search campaign with wedding rings and Engagement rings ad groups and tightly-themed & relevant keywords to ensure top ad positions.
  • Campaign segmentation by geography (Port-Harcourt & Lagos) ensuring different Ad copies for different states
  • Use of RLSA (Remarketing Lists for Search Ads) combined with Time Countdown ads to incite action from non-converted visitors of the site
  • Analytics Tracking to monitor Site & campaign performance and gather further insights for campaign optimization


  • Increase in both offline & online sales during & after the

search campaign.

  • After Site redesign, Saint Tracy got over 70 leads generated from calls and e-mail from a budget of N53,000 ($300) for a one month campaign.
  • On first week of site launch after the redesign, the site saw an increase in traffic from 300 unique page visitors to over 1000 unique page visitors. 60% of the traffic was from mobile
  • From date of launch, December, 2014 till date the site has over 5800 users, 38,123 Page visits and over 200 leads.
  • Follower growth rate of over 70% on Facebook & Twitter
